Mi Casa Es Tu Casa @Guimarães
Fernando Alvim é o criador de Mi Casa Es Tu Casa, o evento que transformou Guimarães 2012, Capital Europeia da Cultura, na cidade onde a música é ambulante e chega directamente aos sótãos, casas-de-banho, salas e quintais dos vimarenses!
Aldina Duarte, António Zambujo, Luísa Sobral, Mafalda Veiga, Guta Naki, Virgem Suta e Samuel Úria foram apenas alguns dos nomes que foram literalmente entrar nas 32 casas do centro histórico de Guimarães que aderiram voluntariosamente a esta iniciativa. 
O evento virou de cabeça para baixo a definição de concerto: se até hoje os concertos eram planeados e pensados para um espaço público para onde os espectadores afluíam, nesta fabulosa iniciativa foram os concertos que invadiram os espaços privados do público!

NYC’s Day and Night Combined in Stephen Wilkes Photography
To split the landscapes from AM to PM and create such a surrealist effect, Stephen kept his camera at a fixed angle for up to 15 hours, then weaved and blended the shots into one frame. Let’s now contemplate all the bustle of the city within these breathtaking shots.

5,000 Fiber Optic Flowers Invade Museum Grounds In Field of Light
It seems England is brightening up this winter, last week saw the city of Durham become a festival of light for Lumiere 2011 and this weekend the Holburne Museum in Bath has welcomed Field of Light by artist Bruce Munro. The piece, which has had previous incarnations, and it has evolved with each one. The current setup is made of 5220 acrylic stems which have fibre optic cables running through with a frosted acrylic ball atop each one. The stems are illuminated by an external projector on a colour wheel, with the stems themselves having no electricity in them at all.
